I bought this to scan cards for reselling. The ease and speed are great but, the scans do not show the flaws in the cards very well. The wear from playing cards that causes dull spots does not show up at all. If you want something that gives nice clean document worthy pics it would be great for that though. I still use it for my cards because even digital photos are hard to get really good pictures and take way too long to do 100s of cards at a time.

The ease of use and performance is great.

I made the mistake of thinking this could also print. Once I figured that out I had to return it. That is 100% my fault. If you’re reading this don’t be foolish like I was

I have used this scanner now for 2 1/2 years and it’s held up extraordinarily well with zero issues. It scans quickly with 100% accuracy and what I like the best about this is if there is a staple or bad fold that jams while scanning, it stops, allows you to fix/remove the sheet of paper in question, and then continues on where it left off. I also very much like that it produces pdf files in readable / searchable text, preserving the color of the pages and scanning both sides at the same time. If one side is blank, it “knows” this, and the blank page isn’t part of the scanned file. In the past 2 1/2 years, I have scanned thousands upon thousands of documents, all with ZERO issues. I have no hesitation recommending this scanner.

I hated giving up the desk space for yet another piece of equipment but this is so much faster than the flatbed scanner, it’s a good sacrifice. It’s fast and easy to setup and use.

Seriously. You scan about 20 pages and then are expected to manually rotate each page so that it is top up.
The scanner does not automatically see an upside down page and rotate it in the software itself.
If you are scanning a couple of pages, no big deal. But what if you have to scan 20 or 30 pages? Not acceptable. Management did not want to spring for a new ScanSnap after our old one proved unusable by Windows 11. I warned them but now we are stuck with this thing.
Do not buy if your purchase is for office use. Quit your job if they wont buy an office capable scanner.

I researched like crazy and selected this based on comments and reviews. Not disappointed at all. Setup was easy and the unit is more compact than I thought it would be. In the short time I’ve had it, I’ve used it extensively for home office uses. Paper feeding has been fast and jam-free. The software loaded easily and functions well. So far, so good.

Scanners have come a long way in a short period of time. This is a wonderful scanner and takes up little space in my office. Best part is it scans almost anything. I have scanned credit cards and a bunch of documents. Very easy set up, just go to the Epson website and download the file and you’re ready to go.

This is great for scanning documents. Letters, bills, invoices, etc.
Pros: (-1-) It is SUPER fast (-2-) great document feeder (-3-) nice, easy-to-use interface (-4-) awesome compact size.
Cons: (-1-) the picture quality is kind of bland. Not too many adjustments available. Standard contrast is pretty high, colours are oversaturated. As I said, it’s great for documents, (black-and-white mostly), not so great where the colour is important. (-2-) it would be great if the document thickness could be adjustable. If I have 2-3 stapled pages, and if I only need to scan the top page, I cannot feed them altogether. It results in a paper jam. I need to remove the staple, scan the top page, and re-staple them together. (-3-) USB connection only (no wifi)
As I said it’s a great, quick little document scanner. I’d buy it again. Just don’t expect too much from it. But it works as intended.
