How to Use the 2023 Reno10 Pro+ Smartphone

Setting Up the Phone

1. Insert the SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s).
2. If desired, insert a memory card into the second SIM card slot to expand storage.
3. Power on the phone by pressing and holding the power button.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup process, including connecting to Wi-Fi, signing in to your Google account, and customizing settings.

Basic Navigation

• Tap on the screen to select an app or item.
• Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to go to the home screen.
• Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the notification panel.
• Swipe left or right on the home screen to switch between different pages.

Making Calls and Sending Messages

• To make a call, open the Phone app and enter the phone number using the keypad. Then tap the call button.
• To send a message, open the Messages app and tap the compose button. Enter the recipient’s phone number or select a contact, then type your message and tap the send button.

Taking Photos and Videos

• Open the Camera app.
• To take a photo, aim the phone at the desired subject and tap the shutter button.
• To record a video, tap the video button and then tap it again to stop recording.
• Use the different camera modes and settings to customize your photos and videos.

Unlocking the Phone

• Press the power button to wake up the screen.
• If you have set up facial recognition, simply look at the front camera to unlock the phone using Face Access.
• If facial recognition is not set up or not working, manually enter your PIN, pattern, or password to unlock the phone.

Charging the Battery

1. Connect the charger adapter to the phone’s USB Type-C port.
2. Plug the charger adapter into a power outlet.
3. Wait for the battery to charge. A notification will appear when the battery is fully charged.
